WHO WE ARE

The Marine Corps Reserve Association Education Trust began as the Wisconsin International School Trust. The Wisconsin International School was located in De Pere, Wisconsin, and offered foreign language at the elementary school level. The curriculum was so successful that the local public and parochial schools began to offer the same curriculum. Unfortunately when the special curriculum draw of the Wisconsin International School disappeared, it caused the school to fail. As a result the trust was eventually re-purposed to its current mission of providing funds to support educational programs for the benefit of Marine Corps Junior ROTC students in the form of college scholarships to highly qualified graduating seniors as well as posting educational material in the field of history especially as related to national security through such donations as may be received by this trust, all within the limitations of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Trust is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. An Employer Identification Number (EIN) of 46-7247920 was assigned to the Trust and this number may be used to check for the latest IRS Form 990 filed with the agency. See the Contact Info page on how to check the IRS information.
